About Transformative Mindset Solutions

Transformative Mindset Solutions (TMS) is a mindset-driven education and consulting company dedicated to rebuilding the foundations of how people think about themselves, others, and their purpose. We design non-clinical, evidence-informed programs that turn big psychological and leadership ideas into practical tools youth and adults can use in real time, whether they are navigating middle school, leading a team, or reshaping an organization.

At the heart of TMS is the SHIFT Life Formula (R + A x F) = C, which teaches that a Resilient mindset plus Academics multiplied by Faith/core motivation creates a Confident foundation that carries a person through life's toughest stretches. Our flagship K-12 curriculum, SHIFT: Mindset Bridge System™, integrates Army Master Resilience Training, CASEL SEL standards, and trauma-informed practice to deliver a comprehensive resilience pathway for youth ages 5-18, delivered through schools, youth organizations, faith communities, and sports programs.

Through licensing, facilitator certification, and ongoing support, we equip local adults to become resilience builders in their own communities.

Beyond youth programming, TMS supports leaders and organizations through the Shifting Perspectives program, a structured, phased approach to transforming culture that audits mindsets, realigns expectations, and establishes rhythms of accountability and continuous improvement. By addressing root causes rather than applying band-aid fixes, we help teams move from stagnation to peak performance, building resilient systems that match the resilient people they serve.

Youth Resilience System (SHIFT)

SHIFT — Mindset Bridge System™
A K–12 resilience and leadership framework that treats school as a real‑world rehearsal space for life. SHIFT helps young people navigate key academic and life transitions with a Confident Foundation, clear boundaries, and practical tools they can keep using long after the bell rings.

What we offer

K–4: SHIFT Kid Foundations – “Building Me: Piece by Piece”
SHIFT Kid teaches children that they are actively building themselves piece by piece through their thoughts, feelings, actions, and choices. Students learn what they can and cannot choose, use an inner map of Head, Heart, Hands, and Feet, and see asking for help as part of growth, supported by tools like Building Me Piece by Piece, My Growing‑Up Job, and the SHIFT Foundations badge.

 

5–8: My Access Plan Band
The 5–8 band focuses on the vulnerable bridge years when students navigate friendships, social media, identity pressures, and transitions between school levels. Students use practical tools that combine into My Access Plan, the core SHIFT contract, including My Boundary Box, Relationship Flags, Circle of Access, Flags to Decisions, Repair / Adjust / Step Away scripts, and the SHIFT Roadmap, so they can define values, set terms and conditions for access, notice patterns, and respond intentionally.

 

9–12: SHIFT Capstone Band
The 9–12 band is the SHIFT Capstone, the culminating experience of the Mindset Bridge System. Students revisit and extend their earlier contract work across dating, work, digital reputation, identity, support networks, and postsecondary decisions, develop a personal Life Formula that connects values, boundaries, access decisions, and goals, and use a Bridge Maintenance Plan to maintain and revise that formula as they step into adult‑facing situations.

 

The S‑H‑I‑F‑T competencies across grades

SHIFT is built around five interconnected competencies that develop resilience and agency from K through 12:

  • Self‑Awareness: Students identify thoughts, feelings, body cues, values, and patterns.

  • Healthy‑Relationship Skills: Students learn boundaries, relationship expectations, and how to recognize red, yellow, and green flags.

  • Intentional Action: Students move from reaction to planned next steps using repeatable decision tools and scripts.

  • Future‑Forward Growth: Students connect present decisions to future opportunities, transitions, and goals.

  • Trust and Accountability: Students learn repair, reciprocity, follow‑through, and integrity in how they show up for themselves and others.

 

How programs can be delivered

  • A 6–8 module curriculum embedded in advisory, health, SEL, or enrichment blocks.

  • After‑school or summer workshops for small groups or specific programs.

  • A time‑bound pilot with one grade, team, or program site to test, learn, and plan for scale.

Adult Training & Certification

SHIFT‑Certified Facilitator & Trainer Development. We equip the adults closest to youth—teachers, counselors, coaches, mentors, and youth workers—to turn everyday school and program moments into resilience and leadership practice.

Training options

Facilitator Training (Front‑line staff)

12–16 hours of virtual and/or in‑person training on the SHIFT Life Formula, S‑H‑I‑F‑T framework, and core lesson facilitation.

Practice using Real‑World Rehearsals and Red Flag Replays drawn from actual student scenarios (social media, bullying, family stress, transitions).

Trainer Development (Internal champions)

24–40 hours of advanced training for leaders who will train and coach other staff within a school, district, or youth network.

Implementation planning, data use, and ongoing support to build a sustainable, train‑the‑trainer model.

Outcomes for organizations

A common language for resilience, boundaries, and transitions across classrooms and programs.

Increased staff confidence responding to social‑emotional and digital‑age challenges with practical tools, not just advice.

A clear structure for onboarding new staff into your resilience approach and sustaining SHIFT beyond a single grant or school year.
